Dimitri Kotsiras (he/him)

Dimitri oversees Peace Direct’s broader research agenda, including coordinating all research projects and developing research guidelines and strengthening internal research practice. 

He currently leads on the USAID-funded ‘Stopping As Success’ project, on the Decolonising Systems project, Peace Insight and our atrocity prevention research in the Great Lakes region. He has previously supported democracy strengthening programmes at Westminster Foundation for Democracy. 

He also acted as a researcher and campaigner with Crisis Action and Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East, and he previously worked at the United Nations reporting on the UN Security Council. 

Dimitri holds an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London, and a BA in Political Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
