Thomas joined Peace Direct in 2022 as the Operations Associate for the US office. He works closely with the US Executive Director and the US Board of Directors to analyze and improve internal processes to advance Peace Direct’s global impact, supports the US team’s programmatic and advocacy efforts, and participates in OrgsInSolidarity.
Thomas graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Divinity from Boston University where he specialized in Religion, Conflict Transformation, and International Relations. Prior to his graduate studies, he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Religion, Mandarin Chinese, and Human Rights and Conflict Studies from Birmingham-Southern College (BSC). At BSC, Thomas was a Hess Fellow with the General Board of Church and Society where he created a curriculum on the intersection of domestic violence with gun violence, migration, and women and children’s health.
